The United States Naval Community College associate degrees are conferred by our USNCC consortium partner institutions initially. Upon achieving accreditation, the USNCC will then become the degree-granting institution.

The program is designed in a modular fashion with fully stackable certificates built into this program. This means that the USNCC students have the opportunity to earn two certificates on the path to their associate degrees without having to take extra courses; these certificates are built natively into the degree program.

The Naval Studies Certificate is the foundation of the entire program and includes five courses that count as 15 of the 60 credits required for each USNCC associate degree. The remaining 45 credits are taught by  partner institutions, and round out the general education and professional concentration requirements of each associate degree. These professional concentration courses culminate in the professional focus certificates earned along the way.

Check out the degree programs page for more information on our naval-relevant professional certificate programs.
