To assess, guide, and achieve our mission, the USNCC developed five overarching institutional outcomes:
Students shall demonstrate proficiency in one concentration area that has relevance to the Navy, Marine Corps, and Coast Guard services.
Students shall demonstrate breadth of knowledge and the ability to make connections across a range of disciplines.
Students shall demonstrate 21st century skills inclusive of critical thinking, analytical reasoning, information literacy, data fluency, and communicative fluency (inclusive of writing and verbal communications).
Students shall demonstrate learning, strong ethics, and judgment (individually or in teams) by addressing a problem using scholarly inquiry professionally or in other settings outside the classroom.
Students shall understand the context of the naval services through the lenses of history, civil-military relations, and current geopolitical trends.
